As a Church we believe
- The Bible is God's Word and therefore wholly reliable and a true source of help and guidance in our lives
- God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are three persons in one, sovereign in creation, providence and redemption
- Jesus is the Son of God, who became human and was born to a virgin, he was put to death on a cross and rose again. Belief in him, his death and resurrection are the only means of salvation. Jesus will return to the earth again to judge the nations
- God the Holy Spirit helps us realise our need for God's forgiveness, makes us more like Jesus and enables us to understand the Bible
- Men and women are all sinful and in need of redemption if they are to enter into a vital and living relationship with God and receive eternal life
- We are part of the one Church, the body of believers from every place and every age, regardless of culture, education, race and social standing, who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour
- Communion and the baptism of believers are sacraments given by Jesus to the Church to celebrate and acknowledge his salvation
